These terms apply when you download, try or buy SpaceShift. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, ask before you buy.

Who you are dealing with

SpaceShift is a Windows desktop application made and supported by an independent developer. Support and every question about these terms goes to [email protected], which reaches a person rather than a queue.

The demo

SpaceShift runs as a full demo for 14 days. Nothing is held back, no card is needed, and a day is only counted on a day you actually launch it, so a fortnight where you never open the app costs you nothing. When the demo is used up SpaceShift stops launching until a licence is registered. Everything you have set up is kept and comes back the moment you register.

What a licence gives you

• One purchase covers up to three computers that you own or use.
• A licence key is issued for a specific computer, identified by the System ID shown in the app, and is checked on that computer. Verification is entirely offline: SpaceShift never contacts the internet to validate anything.
• Your licence does not expire. It applies to the version you bought and to updates we make available under it.
• Moving a licence to a replacement computer is fine. Because keys are bound to one machine, contact support and we will free the seat for you.

What you may not do

• Share, resell, sublicense or publish your licence key.
• Distribute modified copies of the application.
• Work around, disable or tamper with the licence or demo checks.

Ordinary use, including on a work computer, is fine. These restrictions exist to stop redistribution, not to police how you arrange your own desktop.

Payment and taxes

Purchases are handled by our payment provider, who acts as the merchant of record. That means they take the payment, handle any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live, and appear on your statement and receipt. Prices are shown before you pay and are charged once, not by subscription.

Refunds

There is a 14 day refund window, described in full on the refund policy page. Because the demo lets you run every feature before you spend anything, we would rather you tried it first than bought and asked later, but the window is there either way.

Updates and availability

SpaceShift is under active development and gets updates. We do not promise a particular release schedule, or that a specific feature will exist forever, though features are removed rarely and not quietly. The application itself runs offline, so it keeps working whether or not this website does.

What we do not promise

SpaceShift is provided as it is. It moves and arranges windows belonging to other programs, and Windows and those programs change in ways nobody controls, so we cannot guarantee it will behave identically with every application or every version of Windows. Our liability is limited to what you paid for the licence. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of your own country, which apply whatever this page says.

Ending a licence

You can stop using SpaceShift at any time and remove the licence from a computer inside the app. We may end a licence if it is being redistributed or if the licence checks are being deliberately circumvented, and we will tell you why.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and the version you agreed to when you bought continues to apply to that purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Türkiye, where the developer is based. This does not take away consumer protections available to you where you live.
